However on May 29 the game faced interruptions and it wasn’t until the early hours of May 30 that a winner was determined.

In a twist of fate Ravindra Jadeja clinched the victory for the Chennai Super Kings with a six and a winning four at 1;35 AM. The Gujarat Titans had earlier set a record breaking total of 214/4, the highest in an IPL 2023 final.
